This Thing of Darkness

 

My first book for young adults is This Thing of Darkness (November 2018). It's got mystery, it's got lots of teenage angst and it's got love, but gets a bit dark in places so it's probably best suited for readers aged 14 and up.

 

This Thing of Darkness tells the story of eighteen-year-old Riley Benjamin, whose world has just been turned upside down. The sudden death of her younger sister has left her adrift, questioning everything she thought she wanted in life. Then Dean Jagger shows up at her school; he seems to understand her like no one else. But he’s a boy with a mysterious past. And if he turns out to be who people say he is, Riley’s world will be decimated once again.
